In a typical day, Yarbo completes up to 7 mowing cycles, each covering around 0. 25 acres. If mowing twice weekly, as recommended for grass health, Yarbo can cover up to 6 acres per week.
Can Yarbo handle steep slopes and complex terrain?

Yes. Yarbo can handle slopes up to 35 degrees (70%) and navigate complex terrains with features like ditches, trees, and ponds. Its tracked drive system and powerful motors enable strong performance on uneven and rugged lawns.
How’s the mowing quality?

Yarbo features dual floating cutting discs, each equipped with five razor-sharp blades, providing a 20-inch (50 cm) cutting width and adjustable cutting heights from 1.2 to 4.0 inches (3–10 cm). This design ensures a clean, even cut across a variety of grass types.
How do I install Data Center for optimal performance?

Installing the Data Center Set involves three main steps: place the Data Center in an open area with at least a 120° clear view of the sky, connect it to your router using the included 30-meter Ethernet cable, and power it on. Yarbo app will guide you through the final setup to ensure everything is working properly.
Where should I place the Docking Station?

The Docking Station should be placed on a flat, even surface in a clear, open area free of obstacles. Ideally, position it near the center of Yarbo’s working area so it’s easily accessible from multiple directions. Make sure it’s located where there is a strong RTK signal to help Yarbo dock accurately, especially when the battery is low. Regularly check that the station remains level, clean, and securely connected for consistent performance.
How does Yarbo ensure precise navigation?

Yarbo ensures precise navigation by receiving RTK correction data from the Data Center. The Data Center itself connects to your router through a wired Ethernet cable to maintain a reliable network connection. Proper placement of the Data Center with a clear sky view helps ensure consistent signal quality.

What about battery life and coverage per charge?

Yarbo delivers industry-leading battery performance, providing up to 120 minutes of mowing per charge (from 80% to 20%) and covering approximately 0.25 acres (1,000 m²). When using the full battery capacity (100% to 0%), it can cover up to 0.43 acres (1600 m²). Yarbo automatically returns to the charging station at 20% battery, takes about 90 minutes to charge back to 80%, and then resumes mowing without any manual intervention. This efficient and battery-friendly charge cycle allows Yarbo to cover up to 1.7 acres per day and 6 acres per week when mowing twice weekly, as recommended for lawn health.

In addition, Yarbo features an advanced battery management system with protections against overheating, short circuits, overcurrent, and overcharging. It also adjusts charging modes based on real-time conditions to ensure optimal performance and safety.
How well does Yarbo Lawn Mower detect obstacles?

Yarbo features a sophisticated obstacle detection system with 6 cameras, 2 ultrasonic sensors, and a three-sided smart bumper. Its spatial AI uses advanced algorithms to distinguish between grass and obstacles such as trees, garden decorations, toys, passersby and pets. For large or stationary obstacles, it's recommended to set them as No-Go Zones. Yarbo will then use smart path planning to navigate around them while continuing to mow edges accurately with its centimeter-level, wire-free navigation—improving both mowing coverage and efficiency.
What maintenance is needed for blades, tracks, and general upkeep?

Yarbo requires simple, regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Blades should be replaced approximately every three months with heavy use, or sooner if cutting performance declines—no special tools are needed. Tracks should be cleaned and lubricated regularly, and their tension checked periodically. For general upkeep, clean the cameras and sensors monthly, wipe down the exterior housing, and keep the firmware up to date via the Yarbo app. If storing the unit, charge the battery for at least 15 minutes every three months to prevent inactivity issues.
