Pro mower works great! I use the metal blades. I sharpen with a file a couple of times a year. I mow 3 country acres and it handles it well.

Thanking yarbo team for sending me the Mower Pro in one of the first batches.

Thanking yarbo team for sending me the Mower Pro in one of the first batches. I've been able to drop the fixed blades an inch lower than the razors, and it's looking great, and is actually doing what i was hoping the mower one would. Cutting nicely on the first pass too.

Works Well

I saw someone on here asking how well the Yarbo pro works on mulching leaves. I got my new module late last night.
I did a single test pass at 9pm at a 2.9 blade height on WET leaves (so it’s an unfair test) and this was the result. Very impressed!!!
Edit:
I posted an updated picture after a single pass. I am cutting under six large maples. No issues and the pro disappeared leaves.
Everytime leaves built up the mower would detect an obstacle, back up, and go at it again and pulverize everything.

Personal Review

I received my mower pro module today. Figured I’d give some initial thoughts after having done a section of my lawn. Cut quality with straight blades: For my particular property, it’s what I wanted the original module to be. I won’t say it’s 100% perfect. I did notice a couple very small clumps it didn’t quite get, but honestly that’s borderline nit-picky. In my opinion, the regular m1 does B- work on my lawn. I have thicker grass and I don’t want the Yarbo running all the time for various reasons. So, I was dealing with a lot of missed spots. With the pro module however, it’s a whole different story. I had let my lawn grow for two weeks to give the pro a serious challenge and it did a better job than the regular m1 does cutting every 5 to 6 days. I know the m1 is really intended to run a lot more frequently. So the comparison is not totally fair. All I can say is the pro is a lot closer to a traditional lawnmower and can easily handle cutting once a week. I was impressed with the job it did and would give it an A- to an A. Packaging: As usual, the Pro came packaged well. My only gripe, which was incredibly annoying is I was given the manual for the regular m1 and not the pro. Battery: I know a few people have mentioned a big drain in battery with the Pro, but I didn’t see this. Maybe I just need to use it more, but even for grass well over 4 inches long, the battery life seemed on par with the m8. Maybe I’m just not hitting the conditions others are, not sure. Build Quality: Everything feels solid and durable. However, the thing that threw me off a bit is you just bolt the straight blades on with an Allen wrench. Maybe that’s enough for this type of blade? Certainly seems to work well! I guess I’m just used to my regular mower that requires you to use a torque wrench to put the blades on. Overall, I think the pro rocks. The cutting power just seems far superior.

Good Product

Mower pro is 100% improvement.

The cut is much cleaner than the disks and leaves fewer long standing grass blades that are folded rather than cut. However, the new software improvements are problematic. There are many faults obstruction alerts and skips with it. Leaving many places uncut. I’ve had to disable all but the touch sensor to get around this problem. Tall weeds set it into object alert mode. It also alerts to objects that are on the side that are not in its way when moving on a pathway. This has cause the unit to shut down after several tries to move forward. I have to manually drive it out of the affected areas.

So far, so good. Super quiet module and if the traction motors were only this quiet this could be killer!

Had no issues at all with the Mower Pro module

Compare to last year's cut quality. This year the cut quality was so much better along with the improved obstacle avoidance. I now consider the Pro module to now deliver a cut as good as a zero turn lawn mover.

With the original module you had to chip the tops off the grass with the razor blades. The new mulching blades and double power motors and you can beast mode through even the tall grass! Must have upgrade….

Works great and cuts great when GPS works. When GPS doesn't work, it's worthless.
