Do I need to purchase the 4G Connect Kit separately?

It depends on your model. Most Yarbo models come with the 4G Connect Kit standard — no extra hardware cost. A small number of models may require a separate purchase. Check your model's spec sheet to confirm.

Is the 4G Connect Kit required for my Yarbo to run?

No. 4G is optional. Your Yarbo operates normally on Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi HaLow via Yarbo Data Center — including mapping, auto-mowing, status monitoring, and basic remote control. 4G unlocks remote access beyond the Wi-Fi range, anti-theft tracking, live yard monitoring, and NetRTK precision positioning.

Will my mower stop working when the free period ends?

No. Core mowing functions are unaffected. Your Yarbo continues to map, mow, and operate normally within Wi-Fi or HaLow range. Only 4G-dependent features will pause until renewed.

How is the free period calculated for a separately purchased 4G Kit?

Your free period starts from the activation date and varies by model. Y40 includes 1 year free, while Y40P includes 2 years free. If you purchased the 4G Kit separately, your free period is 1 year from the date the module is activated.

Is it safe around people, pets, and obstacles?

Yarbo uses smart mapping and sensors to navigate your yard, clearing snow automatically without manual supervision. You just set the boundaries in the app.

Can I use my own SIM card or choose a carrier?

No. The 4G Connect Kit uses a built-in dedicated SIM managed by Yarbo. Third-party SIM cards and carrier selection are not supported.
