How Yarbo’s Anti-Theft Features Protect Your Investment

How Yarbo’s Anti-Theft Features Protect Your Investment

Why Anti-Theft Features Are Essential for Your Equipment

Your Yarbo device is more than just equipment—it’s a valuable investment, designed to simplify your outdoor maintenance tasks. Protecting this investment is essential, especially in today’s world where high-value items like lawn mowers and snow blowers require robust security measures.

Unlike traditional equipment, Yarbo offers comprehensive anti-theft solutions tailored to your needs. From GPS tracking to GeoFence alarms, Yarbo ensures your device stays secure no matter where you are. With these advanced features, you can take control of your device’s safety and enjoy peace of mind knowing it’s safeguarded against potential threats.

Secure Your Device with Anti-Theft Fastening Bolts

Yarbo integrates anti-theft fastening bolts into its design to prevent unauthorized access. These tamper-resistant bolts protect critical components like the battery and motor, making it significantly harder for thieves to tamper with or remove them. Whether your snowblower is stored outdoors or in a garage, these bolts ensure unauthorized access is nearly impossible.

To maintain their effectiveness, check and tighten the bolts regularly using the included Torx wrench. This simple step adds an extra layer of protection, ensuring your Yarbo remains secure in all conditions.

Set Boundaries with GeoFence and Get Instant Alerts

The GeoFence feature allows you to set a virtual boundary around your Yarbo device. If the device crosses this boundary, you will receive an instant alert via the Yarbo app, and an email notification. The device will also emit a beeping sound to signal that it has crossed the boundaries.

Creating a GeoFence doesn’t rely on base stations or data centers. However, to detect when your device crosses the boundary and to trigger alerts, real-time location data from base stations or data centers is required. This ensures that the alerts are accurate and timely.

Control Access with Authorized User Permissions

Only trusted individuals should have control over your Yarbo device. Through authorized user permissions, you can grant access to up to six individuals, ensuring the machine is only operated by family members or trusted personnel.

For example, if you’re traveling and want a neighbor to clear snow from your driveway, you can grant them temporary access through the Yarbo app. Once the task is complete, you can easily revoke their permission, ensuring your device remains in trusted hands.

Track Your Device Anywhere

Yarbo’s tracking system ensures your device remains traceable as long as it has GPS or network connectivity. When the device is within signal range, you can monitor its real-time location, providing you with continuous visibility.

For large rural properties or areas with limited connectivity, it’s essential to keep the device within areas where signal strength is adequate. If the device enters a no-signal zone, tracking will pause until it regains network or GPS coverage.

While offline tracking and low-power modes are planned for future updates, Yarbo’s real-time tracking provides reliable location data whenever the device is connected to a network, ensuring it stays secure and traceable.

Visual Monitoring for Enhanced Security

Yarbo’s Visual Monitoring feature uses front and side cameras to provide real-time yard surveillance. This allows you to remotely monitor the status of your device and the surrounding area, adding an extra layer of security. Whether you’re at home or away, you can keep an eye on your device at all times, ensuring that it’s protected against any unauthorized access or tampering.

Stay Ahead with Ongoing Anti-Theft Updates

Yarbo continually enhances its anti-theft features through regular OTA (Over-the-Air) updates via network connection, ensuring your device stays equipped with the latest technologies. Future updates will introduce new features like Lost Mode and low-power mode, further strengthening tracking capabilities and adding another layer of security. These updates also improve key features such as GeoFence accuracy, extend tracking durations, and enhance overall device protection.
