After wrapping up our visit in Indiana, we hit the road toward Pennsylvania. The journey was nothing short of breathtaking, with miles of snow-covered trees and rolling hills creating a true winter wonderland.
As we arrived at Jim Macdonald’s home, nature added a special touch—just as we pulled in, fresh snow began to fall, giving us a picture-perfect welcome.
A Warm Welcome and a Passion for Yarbo
Jim greeted us with a warm smile, instantly making us feel at home. His European-style home was stunning, but what truly stood out was his dedication to Yarbo.
As one of our newest PPP members, having joined in 2024, Jim had already set aside a special area for Yarbo’s accessories and certification documents—a sign of his enthusiasm and attention to detail.

During our visit, we guided him through Yarbo’s setup, walked through key features in the Yarbo App, and ensured he felt completely comfortable using his machine.

Seeing his excitement and curiosity reminded us why we love meeting Yarbo users in person—these interactions are at the heart of what makes our community special.
Product Feedback: Navigating Backyard Obstacles
While discussing Yarbo’s performance in his yard, Jim pointed out an elevated obstacle—a swing set in his backyard.
We recommended creating a No-Go Zone to prevent Yarbo from attempting to navigate under or around it. Additionally, we suggested using the Dead-End feature for specific areas in the middle of the yard where Yarbo might need extra guidance.
Looking Ahead
A huge thank you to Jim Macdonald for welcoming us into his home and being part of the Yarbo community.
We’re excited to see how Yarbo supports him through the seasons ahead, and we look forward to more amazing moments with our PPP members.
