"Kind of nice to wake up to a well plowed driveway!

I use my 2023 (currently) mostly for plowing overnight (via schedule), for testing purposes.

With the Blower it easily clears the snow berms left behind by the plow, when I want to.

Half tempted to program a "Sidewalk" feature to do the berms as a Work-Plan- but manual is fun too.

Yeah, the docking station should not be that close to a driveway light- but I too have limits on placement, and accept the risk."

"Wanna race?" My neighbor and my 2023 M1. His is faster, but mine involves a cup of coffee and talking to the family and watching TV.

"Mower module unboxing (M1) and in action. I was able to just attach the module, use my existing map from the SAM and create a work plan to mow my back yard. It worked very well. Definitely impressed. I completely mowed on a single charge for over 5 hours."

I am very impressed with my yarbo and the yarbo team! After lots of live events and Q&A sessions I decided to purchase mine this summer for my elderly grandparents. Today was the first real snowfall since set up and I am very pleased. Yes there were a few, and still are, some glitches but overall very impressive. It made it all worth it to know my grandparents are sitting in the comfort of their home while I watch yarbo clear their driveway from my house on my phone. The yarbo team has been awesome with answering any questions/helping with tech support too. Thank you yarbo and keep up the great work!

There is not much snow, but Yarbo is doing a great job! I was enjoying a cup of coffee and recording. I will adjust the auger to 0 so that it can scrap the bottom nicely.

After the last set of software updates and a reboot of the datacenter and Yarbo, everything worked. Strong signal and success in mapping and clearing fresh snow from my driveway. I have lots of trees in a suburban environment with lots of dwellings nearby so my location was not a textbook locating for Yarbo Tech support was great, the fit and finish of the unit was amazing butwas lookingat making a return because could not get my location work. If your have setup problems, I suggest working closely with Yarbo and being patient. Now that it's working it's a game changer.

They say good things come to those who are patient. I have been reminded of that with Yarbo. It was really difficult to wait but I will confess that the wait was totally worth it. Let's just start with the build quality, organization of packing, the tools (), and did I mention the build quality? I installed my Yarbo yesterday after spending a few hours on a lift. My setup is unique in that I have a barn on my property about 300 feet from my house. The DC is mounted on the barn and my Yarbo lives in my driveway at my house. Setup took the better part of the day, I tested connectivity in the extreme parts of my yard before making the install "permanent". I have 12 acres of property and my signal was strong well over 500 feet and elevation changes with plenty of obstructions. One thing I learned that I read from this group was the Halow can't penetrate earth so if you test on the ground be aware that elevation impacts! Another thing I discovered was the GPS/RTK antennas had a thin gasket that I believe was just enough of a gap that caused low GPS signals. I removed the gaskets and re-seated them and improved my signal. Will need to revisit this. I have my docking station next to the brick wall (may need to revisit this location) and used the grass spikes to attach it to the pavement. Yes it worked! First off the spikes are not cheaply made. They remind me of GRK fastener quality. Also, Yarbo thought to provide you with a driver tool which again (like the 12mm driver tool) was of high quality. You can really tell this unit was packaged thoughtfully. Great work! Once everything was paired up I attached my mower attachment and set off to map a small section of my yard. After easily doing that and setting all the fun settings I sent Yarbo back to the DS and told it to start the plan. FLAWLESSLY it navigated and mowed the entire section leaving some wonderful stripe marks that filled my heart with joy . After it finished and on nearly 100% charge it FLAWLESSLY returned to the docking station and recharged. Wow, just wow. More testing to come, including my large circular driveway for snow blowing. They also say that first impressions are most important. Yarbo did not disappoint in that area either. Bravo Yarbo!

Yarbo is solving some tremendously difficult problems in making a robot snowblower, and I commend their efforts at solving many first-in-class issues. Video shows it doing a pretty good job on one of its longer straightaways. If it would do my whole driveway this way we'd really be revolutionizing my winters!

So I spent the morning mapping the road to and around my uncle's house, we got some snow overnight so wanted to run it to clear those areas. Of course when I was done a storm blew in and took all the snow with it, but Yarbo got to dry run it anyways We also got some Polar Stratospheric Clouds going on. They are really beautiful, and have a northern lights but during daylight kind of vibe to them. They are apparently not very good for the atmosphere though. This is also as much light we get in my area this time of the year, we have Polar Night over here in northern Sweden so the sun doesn't rise above the horizon for a couple of weeks and all we get is twilight.

FAQs

Product
What is the adjustable snow throw distance of the Yarbo Snow Blower?
The Yarbo Snow Blower features an adjustable snow throw distance, allowing you to precisely control the range at which the snow is thrown. The adjustable range spans from 6 feet to 40 feet (approximately 1.83 meters to 12.19 meters).
How does Yarbo Snow Blower determine the optimal time for snow removal? Does it rely on weather reports or sensors?
Yarbo employs a sophisticated approach to determine the optimal time for snow removal. It combines the power of the Yarbo APP and weather forecasting APIs to make informed decisions. You have the flexibility to schedule automatic snow removal before each forecasted snowfall, ensuring that your yard is cleared in a timely manner. Alternatively, you can manually set the frequency of snow removal based on your specific preferences.
Which road surfaces are suitable for Yarbo Snow Blower's operation?
Yarbo robots can operate on various road surfaces, including masonry, cement, asphalt, grass, smooth & rough tiles pavement. However, please ensure the removal of loose stones and debris from the areas where Yarbo will be operating.
What is the snow capacity of Yarbo Snow Blower?
The Yarbo Snow Blower is capable of handling up to 5 inches and 2152.78 ft² (200 ㎡) of snow per full charge. Additionally, with the use of our docking station, the snow cleaning area can be expanded up to 6000 ft² (557.42 ㎡) daily.
Can Yarbo Snow Blower operate during a snowstorm with a snow height of 9.84 in (25 cm) and a temperature of-22 degrees Fahrenheit (-30 degrees Celsius)?
The intake ability of Yarbo Snow Blower is not suitable for snow heights exceeding your requirement. However, Yarbo is designed to start operating immediately when it begins to snow, preventing excessive snow accumulation. By utilizing the Yarbo docking station, it can work continuously to keep your driveway or designated area free of snow 24/7/365.The -25°C is Yarbo's standard working temperature, primarily due to the battery's limitations. However, Yarbo is equipped with heating modules for it
Is it recommended to cover the docking station of Yarbo?
It is not recommended to cover the docking station. In addition to wirelessly charging Yarbo, it also serves as the original point for the RTK system. Covering it might impair Yarbo's ability to receive precise GPS signals while docked or during the docking process, which could affect its autonomous operation.Rest assured, the docking station is designed to withstand outdoor environments. It is built to ensure smooth functionality and uninterrupted performance.
How does Yarbo Snow Blower handle encountering cracks in the sidewalk or other surface imperfections?
Yarbo is designed to adapt to various surfaces and handle uneven terrains effectively. With its rubber tracks and a linear actuator that raises the auger, Yarbo can navigate small steps and surface irregularities of up to 1.97 in (5 cm), including cracks in sidewalks and gaps between tiles, ensuring smooth and efficient snow removal.
